Nice to here the detailed feedback. Do you also test different amount of spookes on the front or rear wheels.

San Remo Trackside iphone clips

Again I was fortunate enough to have Olly our team and performance director trackside for this test getting clips as another point of data to see what was going on with the bike and my body position.

Watching these videos back I’m amazed how much the tyre compresses on the rim, sometimes it looks virtually flat, particularly the rear, but I always had 25psi in the rear and 22.5psi in the front.

Apologies I’m a little late sharing these videos.

Omg, that rear tyre going almost to flat is nuts. Is there any feeling transmitted to the rider on the trail, or it happens so fast that it’s very hard to tell?

Also, is it a radial casing in the rear or regular one? Only curious as I run radial casing front and rear. The rear is at 28psi and when I was filming myself on a steep jump and the rear goes to almost flat on the take off, but being a mere mortal I can’t really tell what’s going on 😂🙈

San Remo Wheel Testing GoPro

Here’s one of my wheel testing runs down Scogli Rossi last week, in San Remo Italy. You can see just how rough this track is on the wheels! 🙈😂

Looks like a great trail! Wheel testing, what exactly are you looking for? Do you have different options?

24/02/26 - What are we testing?

Yesterday I took a day off the bike to recover from the Schwalbe test and prepare for the test with Stoutman and Olly this week. We are still in San Remo, Italy, but this time testing on one of the roughest, harshest tracks in Europe called ‘scogli rossi’ ,it is extremely physical and not the most fun lol. I did 10 runs today, 9 full. I will post a GoPro and some clips later in the week :)

Very interesting to see the outcome of Carbon vs aluminium rims. What spokes do you use for your wheels?
